ARTWORK PREVIEW
02 / THE COLLECTION

Time is part
of the artwork.

Perennial is a collection of 666 unique generative gardens. Each begins with its own composition of branches, flowers and grasses. That structure stays familiar, even as its world changes.

Soft blossoms give way to deep greens, then muted gold and the quiet of winter. Daylight becomes moonlight. One artwork holds all these moments, without another mint or a manual update.

Four seasons, each with day and night. Seasons follow the Northern Hemisphere calendar; the live artwork follows the viewer’s local date and time.

03 / A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

A garden,
explained.

Made with code.
Experienced through time.

What does one Perennial contain?

One unique garden with four seasonal appearances, each in day and night: eight visual states within the same artwork. The composition stays fixed while its foliage, palette and light change.

When does the artwork change?

Day runs from 06:00 to 17:59; night runs from 18:00 to 05:59, using your device’s local clock. Spring begins March 1, summer June 1, autumn September 1 and winter December 1. The open artwork checks its clock every 15 seconds.

Will another collector see the same moment?

The same garden may appear differently to viewers in different time zones. Its live state follows each viewer’s local date and time. It does not use your location, weather or local sunrise times.

How do I find the right garden?

Enter the number from your Perennial artwork title, between 001 and 666. The explorer uses the original collection’s fixed number-to-garden mapping. An on-chain token ID may differ from the artwork title number.

What can I download?

Choose any of your garden’s four seasons and its day or night appearance. Download the full artwork as a PNG at 960 × 1040 or 1920 × 2080 pixels, or create a Twitter banner at 1500 × 500 pixels.

How do I make a banner of my own garden?

Enter your artwork number, select a season and light, then choose Twitter banner under Download format. Adjust the framing slider, check the preview, and download your PNG. The banner crops a wide section of the original composition, preserving its proportions and details.

Will my downloaded image or banner keep changing?

No. Downloads are static PNG images of your chosen moment. Your live NFT artwork and this site’s Live preview follow the viewer’s local date and time. You can return to download a different seasonal or day/night appearance whenever you like.

Is changing the season a blockchain transaction?

No. The artwork reads your device’s clock and renders the appropriate appearance. Exploring seasons or downloading images does not require connecting your wallet or making a transaction.

How are the gardens made?

Custom generative code uses a permanent seed to determine each garden’s branches, plants and flowers. This site uses the original collection’s drawing code and unique seeds.
